I Fell in Love With the Cat Who Works at the Local Pet Shoppe.

I fell in love with the cat who works at the local pet shoppe. Or rather, we fell in love with each other.

Every time I get a chance, I walk in just to see him. He is usually sitting in the back room, so I say “spsps” and he emerges with the sweetest, most enthusiastic kitten mew. Then he just melds into my arms like he belongs there and we snuggle like this for at least 15 minutes.

If I let him go to soon, he immediately flops his tail down and begs me to scoop him back up. I can’t stand to see a sad kitty, so I often stick around longer than expected.

He has a cute fatty-bumbum brother too, but that one is more of a lap cat drama queen and doesn’t like to be held. Sometimes the both of them gather round my legs and don’t want me to leave.

The shop attendants seem indifferent. I am honestly not sure how they feel about me stopping by, but one of them who only works there 1x per week is charmed and thanked me for serving the cats so much attention. Whatever the case may be, nothing will come in the way of our rapturous love 😻🥰🤱🏾
