I'm wondering if we are collectively experiencing the same sentiments as a society. Just feels like a bombardment and there's not much energy for anything aside from keeping our heads above water.

Thanks Courtney. Yeah, I do feel bombarded esp. by the world's tragedies. Like, I open facebook and there's a random post from a page I don't even subscribe to, showcasing one of the worst crimes against humanity or animals. All of that stuff impacts my nervous system. And that is not to talk of economics, social safety net cuts, etc. I've considered how much the exposure drains me and causes stress that follows me into the night.

I'm glad you haven't lost many subscribers at least, it suggests that they are mostly the right kind.

Chronic sleep dep is killer. I hope that it eases with the weather, and that, soon or presently, you will find feline and/or human ties that will let you ride out future winters in better spirit and style ❤️

And I wouldn't be averse to a comfort video post at all - if it brings you comfort to write it

Aww thanks! 💜 I agree. Me too, some part of my heart is defrosting to the idea that maybe next winter will not be so harsh.

Yeah, I have never experienced insomnia without a clear external cause i.e. someone waking me up but this process has really educated me about how to get proper sleep, circadian rhythms, etc. which I am grateful for. My hope is that I can overcome insomnia and share what has worked for me.
